Who are you?
I am Gretchen, and no, my dad did not invent toaster strudels. My husband and I started a successful wedding videography company, where he did the majority of the filming and I ran the business from behind the scenes. From there I used my degree in advertising to grow our business, and found a LOVE for SEO. After freshening up my knowledge and receiving a Digital Marketing Certificate, I have helped countless women learn more about their websites. Seeing women entrepreneurs succeed is my passion, and being able to pair that with SEO has been a dream for me.
What does seo stand for?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It's the process of setting up your web presence to increase organic traffic to your website, through search engines.
How long UNTIL I BEGIN TO see results?
SEO is a long term game. No SEO company should guarantee your first page results. It is best to plan for 3 months working together, and then have quarterly or monthly reviews after.
hOW Can SEO HELP ME?
You have a beautiful site, but search engines can’t rank you if they can’t find you. With an optimized site, you are more likely to be seen as a credible resource for your community. This leads to an increase in traffic, and a higher ranking. SEO is writing your website in a way that search engines can understand.
How SOON can I start?
Right now I only take 5 clients a month, but not every site is ready for SEO. If you are interested, I suggest scheduling a consultation.
What platforms do you work on?
I prefer to work on Squarespace, Wordpress, and Showit. These platforms allow for the ability to edit meta titles, meta descriptions, and great technical support.
